BLS/ACLS/PALS Certificates
Must be AHA approved.
All Anesthesiologists require BLS,PALS and ACLS.Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care physicians require ACLS and PALS. VA EM physicians also require 4 CME hours in Anesthesiology completed within the past two years.
Any physician with Procedural Sedation privileges requires ACLS.VA physicians also require 4 CME hours in Anesthesiology completed within the past two years.
If you are unsure whether you require procedural sedation privileges, please contact your chief immediately.
NOTE: These requirements must be met by no later than one week prior to your start date.
